Helium Fields

While new sources of helium are being discovered worldwide, the backbone of the United States Federal Helium Reserve remains a 425 mile pipeline that runs from outside Amarillo, Texas, through the Oklahoma panhandle, and ends near Bushton, Kansas. This unique pipeline connects processing plants to a number of natural gas fields with unusually high concentrations of helium; including the Hugoton, the West Panhandle, the Greenwood, the Keyes and the Cliffside.
